Operation Order no 15 issued. Weather fine. RBO'S

do 23 The 38th Batt relieved the 85th Can. Inf. Batt. in the
left sub-section on the night 23rd/34th March.
"A" and "D" Companies in the front line, "B" and
"C" companies in support. Each Company took
over the same dispositions as those occupied
by the 85th Batt. This was a day of great
disappointment to many in Blighty expecting
their men folk home on leave. On account
of the Hun offensive, all leave was cancelled.
Officers and men thus affected, would have
declined to accept leave now were a choice given.
Artillery on both sides active and the planes
at night ceased not their movement to & fro.

do 24 Division H.Q. moved from Chateau de la Haie.
Patrols and listening posts had nothing unu-
sual to report. Lieuts. Gaisford, Bissell
and McLennan reported from the School.
