St. EMILE sub-section 1918 Mar 15 cont
for both the Enemy and ours. normal. Our Patrols
are very active and numberous and the men are
keen after their rest, being "on their toes" all
the time. Our working parties have also started
to get in some hard licks already.
Under Brigade Orders of this date, see 546. COMMAND,
the following occurs.

Brig. General J.H. MACBRIEN. CM.G. D.S.O. is temporarily
commanding 4th Canadian Division from Mrach 11th 1918
during absnece of Major General Sir David WATSON.
K.C.B. C.M.G.

Lieutenant Colonel C.M. EDWARDS. D.S.O. is temporarily
commanding this Brigade from 11th March 1918 during
absence of Brig. General J.H. MacBRIEN. C.M.G. D.S.O.
Aircraft patrolled our lines to-day & our snipers
were in evidence. Weather consistently fair. RBO'S

do 16 Transport and Quartermaster's details paid in the
afternoon. Report received that Capt. Slaght had been
killed. Major Dughin shell shocked and Mr. Mores
wounded. Subsequently learnt that Capt Slaght
