Brigade Orders under this date contained the following
Eastern Ontario Regiment :- 38th Batt. Temp Captain
G. G. BELL is seconded for duty with the R.F.C. 19th Dec.
1917. Weather :- cold and wintry. roads very
slippery and Transport service working under difficulty. RBO'S

do 5 Batt. drawn up in macs? on Batt. Parade ground at
9.45 am for inspection for Brigadier General, who
subsequently sent a very flattering message to Colonel
Edwards D.S.O. In the afternoon a very in-
teresting lecture was given in the Theatre at Bruay
on the "Co-operation of Tanks and Infantry.
Weather :- Fair. RBO'S

do 6 Batt. was on the ranges at BOIS DES DAMES. A & B
Companies shotting. C and D Companies practising
Platoon and Company in attack. Warning order
for approaching move issued. Weather fine. RBO'S

do 7 Batt. on the ranges at BOIS DES DAMES and FERFAY.
Weather - Fair. RBO'S
