CHATEAU DE LA HAIE 1918 Feb 14.
Regrettable accident occured at Bombing Practice, when
one Sergeant was killed. The Bombing Officer, Mr. Slott
& another Sergeant wounded by the premature explo-
sion of a shell. Weather Good. RBO'S

do 15 Batt. carrying on training. Weather poor. RBO'S

do 16 Rumours of impending move, so unofficial prepara-
tions were made in Transport Lines. Routine work
of training at Battalion. H.Q. Weather : cold & clear. RBO'S

do 17 Preparations to move to AUCHEL. Cold weather. RBO'S

do 18 As per Oper. Order no 11. The Batt. moved to the AUCHEL
area. The March was made under very fair con-
ditions & all ranks arrived at destination in
good shape. Major English in command, Colonel
Edwards D.S.O. acting as Brigadier General of the 12th
Brigade in the absence of Brig. General J.H. Mac-
BRIEN, C.M.G. D.S.O, on leave, as from 14-2-18. Fair Weather. RBO'S

AUCHEL 19 Batt. adjusting. Training carried on. Cold weather. RBO'S
