A Meeting of all officers of the Batt. was held in H.Q.
Wars Room immediately after lunch. Colonel Ed-
wards D.S.O. delivered an address, which covered
several subjects. The first. was the all important
one of fighting the Huns. Entering on a new front
on the night of the 30/31. it was necessary for
every man to be on his toes al the time, ready
for both aggressive and defensive action. Forstall,
outwit, and outpoint the Hun, was the gist of the
Colonel's remarks in this connection.
Discipline was briefly and clearly dealt with.
Shortcomings due to DRINK would be severely dealt
with, particularly so with Officers. The Officers
