COLUMBIA CAMP 1918 Jan 24 cont.
CAMP was very welcome, the latter camp being badly
scattered, with wastes of mud separating the compo-
nent parts of the Unit. A re-inforcement of sixteen
signallers reported to the Orderly Room in the after-
noon and were paraded before the Paymaster. W. fine. RBO'S

CHATEAU DE LA HAIE 25 Batt. carrying on, a large amount of time being de-
voted to interior economy. Beautiful Spring weather,
the sun giving warmth. Planes, both Hun & ours, busy. RBO'S

do 26 Batt. carrying on. General cleaning up in prepa-
ration for Parade tomorrow. Weather:- Heavy
damp fog in forenoon. Fine at noon. Fog again
in late afternoon and night. RBO'S

do 27 ARTHUR. W. CURRIE, K.C.B. K.C.M.G. conferred decorations
on Officers and O.R. of the 38th. The following
awards were made.
MILITARY CROSS:- Capt. Mcgloughlin W.B. Capt.
SLAGHT. J.O. Lieut. VERNON. W., Lieut. SCOTT. H.M.
D.C.M.:- Private BANDY. A
