Front Line 1917 Dec 19 cont.
blunders in orders, for which no excuse can be made
certainly gets their goat. The Tranpsort then
moved to the former quarters of the 11th Brigade
& were safely housed by nightball.
Weather - Extremely cold. RBO'S

do 20 Weather very cold but men cheerful and on their toes. RBO'S

do 21 Mr. Wilson went on leave to Blighty. Capt Stuart went
to LA COULOTTE to take over the duties of Town Major.
Mr. Graves came down from the line to go on leae.
Weather : very cold in morning with strong wind at night. RBO'S

do 23 Church Parade held by the new Padre, Capt. Farrell, in
the Horse Lines at 10.30 am in a stable, proving
very appropriate for Xmas hymns. Very cold in
forenoon. Batt. relieved from the Front Line by the
72nd Batt. as per 12th Can. Inf. BAtt. Oper Order no 112 RBO'S

do 22 Very cold through preceding night. Capt. Farrell
joined the Batt. as Padre. Weather milder in afternoon. RBO'S

Support Line 24 Batt. in Brigade Support on left.
WEather milder in forenoon, turning to rain in afternoon RBO'S

do 25 All Xmas parcels and letters distributed to men
and Officers in Support Line, including Xmas comforts
