LOZINGHEM 1917 Dec 14
Training carried on. French Artillery passed through.
Notice received that the 12th Brigade will take over
the line in the AVION sector on the night Dec 18/19 &
Brigade to move from its present billets on 17th Dec.
Two Batts. going to CHATEAU DE LA HAIE and two
Batts to PETIT SERVINS and GRAND SERVINS.
Weather:- dull with occasional light showers. RBO'S

do 15 Cash for pay obtained late in afternoon. Details
paid at night. Weather:- bright but cold. RBO'S

do 16 Batt. paid in forenoon. Brigade & other details
in REMBERT paid in the afternoon. Weather: cold
throughout day with snow flurries in afternoon. RBO'S

do 17 Battalion, according to Oper. Order 110. moved
from billets in the LOZINGHEM AREA to
billets in PETIT SERVINS. Pulled out about 840 am
with all ranks in good spirits, despite it was a
very inclement morning, with the roads slippery
from the snow fall of the preceding day and night.
The going in some places was particulary bad
and the transport also had difficulties.
Before reaching Bruay, a blizzard made its attack?
but the men countered under a camouflage
