and other parades. Fair weather but cloudy in evening. RBO'S

do 25 Lieut. Sturkins with N.C.O.'s went on courses of
training in forenoon. Men under Major English
went into BRUAY to shop. Weather:- Very heavy wind
in forenoon. About 1 pm snowed a little, then cleared
& there was bright moonlight in the evening. RBO'S

do 26 Batt. following syllabus Weather very cold in early
morning & dull & cold throughout the day. RBO'S

do 27 Major Parkinson, having returned the previous
afternoon from leave to Paris, resumed the duties
of second in Command. He received a real wel-
come from his brother officers. Training as laid
down in Syllabus was carried on by the Batt. Capt.
Halkett. M.O. returned to the Batt. and Capt. Paré,
who had been performing the M.O's duties, returned
to his former post. Weather dull and cold. RBO'S
