CAESTRE AREA 1917 Nov 13 cont.
with an "al fresco" lunch. others, after receiving
the necessary permission, took full advantage of the
Restaurants and Estaminets? and had a "ban
up" dinner. Appreciation at being once more in
the confines of a large town was very perceptable
and many faces wore the proverbial smile. By
night fall the military mechanism of the Batt.
was working smoothly & men & officers were com-
fortably housed. Weather throughout the day
was fair, but an extremely heavy & dark fog en-
verloped the district shortly after 5 pm. RBO'S

HONDINGHAM AREA 14 Batt. devoted itself to cleaning up & detail work.
Fair weather but cold at night. RBO'S

do 15 Batt. carrying on routine of drill. Fair weather. RBO'S

do 16 Payment of Batt. had to be postponed as address
given by the Field Cashier in his wire was incorrect
