CAESTRE AREA 1917 Nov 12 cont.
carrying on. Men enjoying every half hour of
fine weather with football & other sports. Are
recuperating rapidly from effects of recent
operations. Neighbouring camp is populated
by Chinese labour Batt. & their lack of discipline
and incessant jabbering are sources of amusement
to our men. Preparations made for moving. RBO'S

do 13 In accordance with Oper. Order no 106. issued at
10 pm the night before, the Batt. moved in the fore-
noon to the HONDINGHEM AREA and were billeted in
the outskirts of HAZEBROUCK. To the delight of the
men the march proved to be very short. Thw work
of the officer (& his assistants) who had charge of
the billetting was well done & as soon as the men
had been assigned their quarters, the officers
quickly got their bearings. Some were content
