and satisfaction we all feel towards yourself and the
members of your Section for the admisable and heroic
manner in which the rations and ammunition supplies
were brought forward during the recent operations on
PASSCHENDAELE RIDGE. It was brought home most
forcibly to every member of the Battalion at that
time, the importance of being able to defend on your
Transport Section. I might mention the names of
most of the members of the Section for their especially
good services, but Sergeant Richmire, Corp. Wendland,
C.Q.M.S. Renton and C.Q.M.S. Travers were particularly
