Batt. in Souchez Camp as per Operation Order no 97. Trans-
port Lines at point between Carensy and Hospital Corner.
Frost in early morning. hot at noon. Perfect full
moon at night. Hun aeros active over area through the
day RBO'S

do 2 Batt. practised at Tapes in forenoon. Heavy frost in
early morn. By 10 o'clock, cloudless sky & bright sun.
Part of Batt. paid in afternoon & transport lines in the
evening. Air raid at night over part of area. RBO'S

do 3 Balance of Batt. paid in afternoon. Tapes in forenoon
Bombs dropped near Villers au Bois at night. Some
showers of rain & cold winds. RBO'S

do 4 Operation Order no 98 issued late in evening. Extract.
The 38th Can. Inf Batt. will move on Oct. 5th from
souchez Camp to GOUY-SERVINS. Starting point.
