to proceed to the taped area and go over the tapes and
reach SOUCHES CAMP at 6 pm. RBO'S

do 27 Dull and misty morning, threatening rain. Three new
officers reported to Paymaster. Lieuts. R. B. Veits, E.N. Almas
G.A. Johnson. Bright and warm afternoon. Oper.
Order no 92 executed. Fight in afternoon near
Transport Lines between Hun & British planes. The
Hun destroyed an Observation Balloon & got away.
After 6 pm the Huns destroyed another of our Obser-
vation balloons, but this time, after a spectacular
fight between expert airment, the Hun plane was
brought down & the aviator, who was wounded, taken
prisoner. RBO'S

Souchez Camp 28 Batt. in Souchez Camp. Comfortable billets. Aerial
activity by Huns with our A.A.s working overtime. RBO'S
