Villers au Bois 1917 July 23.
Batt. at Villers au Bois. Transport Lines at Maisnil Bouché.
Batt. training & reorganising. Weather fine. RBO'S

do 24. Batt. at V-au-B. Operation Order no 87 issued.
Extracts. The Batt. will relieve three companies
of the 116th Batt. and one compnay of the 52nd Batt.
in the RED LINE tomorrow July 25th. The Batt. will
move by companies to BERTHONVAL WOOD at the following
hours. A. Co. at 3.30 pm. B. at 3.35. C. at 3.40 D.
at 3.45. Headquarters at 3.50. At BERTHONVAL
WOOD, supper will be served at 6.00 pm. Companies
will march from BERTHONVAL WOOD, starting at 9.30 pm
with five minute intervals to a point in ZOUAVE
VALLEY to be notified later, where they will be met by
guides & will proceed from there by platoons at
300 yards interval to their sectors. Companies
will report relief complete to Battalion Headquarters
by wiring the word "EDWARDS" RBO'S

Careacy & Hospital Corner in forenoon. Violent
thunderstorm with hail in the evening. Operation
