gun fire was active during the night. No activity during
the day. Their sniping very active & their aircraft busy
wth observation work.

Front Line 28 8 AM Batt. in front line. Heavy barrage thro' preceding night
and early morning. Heavy thunderstorm in morning.
Our artillery was active throughout the day, putting on a
barrage at 2.30 pm covering our advance also 100 shells were
thrown into icinity N.32.b. and AVION bombarded for an
hour. Our machine guns were not active except for
a covering fire for our advance this morning.
