do 15th Transport section paid. Our Field & Heavy artillery
persistently shelled enemy lines during last 24 hours, shrap-
nel & H.E. being empoloyed. This afternoon our Howitzer
guns bombarded KIRK TRENCH, AVION, LA COULOTTE & the brick piles
adjoining. Our Stoker guns fired at suspected enemy post.
Brigade Machine Gun fire normal our Rifle fire very active. Our
aircraft machines patrolled our area & crossed over enemy's area.
Last night the enemy placed about 75 high explosive shells
near our line & considerable shrapnel later on in the
night over our front & support line system. During the day
