Vimy 1917 May 24 cont.
Counter attack Company and will be accommodated in
the old second line to the right of the IENS-ARRAS Road. On the
left of the IENS-ARRAS Road, in the same line will be "A" Co of the
72nd Batt. which comes under the tactical command of
the Unit. "C" Co. will furnish its own ration & water
carrying parties and will tonight supply working party
of these? officers and eighty other ranks, which party will
be taken in charge by Lieut. Crowell at 9 pm tonight.
Companies will move independently at 9.30 pm to their
recpective positions.
Company Hdqrs on the Relief tonight will be as follow
"A" Co. in Piano? Dugout on the left. "D" and "B"
Companies in dugout on the IENS-ARRAS ROAD near our old
second line. "C" Co. in Dugout on the IENS-ARRAS Road
near our old third line, the exact location of which will
be given to O.C. "C" Coy? by Lieut. Elder this afternoon.
"B" Co. in view of the di? Headqrs are way from
the line, must always keep three officers on duty in
the front line, and an effort should be made to fix up
advanced Coy. Headquarters in the line. RBO'S
