The third platoon of each Company, less
its Lewis gun crew will be in support in the old front
line just in rear of the present front line. Location
of Company Headquarters will be forwarded in a later
issue. Each Co. will detail one officer and four
N.C.O's to reconnoitre the respective Company frontages?
this afternoon, to obtain the latest information from the
Company in the line and to act as guides for their com-?
panies? on the relief tonight. Completion of relief will
be notified in wiring? ?ns of Company C?nder
to Battalion Headquarters. "A" "B" and "D" Co's
will detail water and ration carrying parties from
the support platoon to report at the new Batt. Hdqrs
at 9.30 pm tonight to the R. S. M?. This will be the
arrangement for rations during the present tour.
Each O. C. Com.? will detail guides to lead these ration
carrying parties to their destination. LIkewise these
support platoons will have to furnish carrying par-
ties for hot food, but this is a matter for Company
