Vimy 1917 May 21 Batt. in support as per Operation Order no 75. Wet night. RBO's
22 Batt. in support as per Oper. Order 75.
23 Batt. in support. Op. Or. 75. Crew of balloon adjacent to Transport
Lines took to their parachutes as result of Hun aerial activity. RBO'S
24 Batt. in support Op. Or. 75. Captain Clarke removed by Field Am-
bulance No 12. on account of trench fever. Shells from Germans
fell in vicinity of Transport Lines. Operation Order No 76 issued
& the Batt relieved the 72nd in the Front Line, right subsector. RBO'S
Oper. Order No 76. The 38th Batt. will relieve the 72nd Can. Inf.
Batt in the right subsector tonight May 24th/25th.
The Front Line system will be held by three Companies "A"
co. on the left. "D" Co in the centre and "B" Co on the right.
These three companies taking over the troutage? respectively of
"B", "C" and "D" Companies of the 72nd Batt. Each Co. will have
in the front line two complete platoons as well as the Lewis
gunners of the remaining platoons of the Company. The
