coming Companies of the 54th Batt. Lieut. Elder will detail two
runners to accompany this party to guide in Headquarters of
the 54th Batt. The Regimental Sergt. Major will arrange for
taking out 100 petrol tins (empty) which will be carried
by Headquarters. Every available N.C.O. and man of the
Batt. will be engaged on working parties for which details
have already been issued. These working parties on com-
pletion of work will move direct to Zouave Valley where
billeting representatives will guide them to quarters
allotted. Squ? K. A. Greene Lieut. ? 38th

Batt. in Zouave Valley. German Artillery were searching for
our guns, being directed by Hun aeroplane over the Valley.

iness. Shells passed over Divisional Headquarters on the
Zouchey?-Anas? Road and in the vicinity of Zouchey? Corner?
