each from "B" Company. "D" Co. in Second Line, "A" & "B"
Companies in the Third Line "A" on the Left and "B" on the
right. The Battalion will move in the following order. Head-
quarters, "C", "D", "B" and "A" Companies. First Company
38th Canadian Infantry Battalion to arrive at 72nd Can. Inf.
Batt. Headquarters at 10 pm. remaining Companies at
20 minute intervals each. No movement over Vimy
Ridge before 8.40 p.m.

Completion of relief to be reported to Batt. Headquarters by O.C.
Company's wiring in his own name. RBO's.

Our Atillery barrage at 3.45 am today was not heavy on
this Batt. front being very light in comparison with our
fire on our right. Oberving officer in our front line re-
ports that fire was accurately placed on enemy front line
system. Enemy S.O.S. signals were displayed on our
