These officers received a very instructive & valuable lecture
from the O. C. Major Parkinson, on the nature of their duties
in the Front Line, and other phases of active service work.
The O.O. then instructed Capt. O'Sullivan to explain ? the new
officers the chie points to be considered in the censorship of
letters and parcels and the cashing of officers' cheques. Rb. O'S

do 2 Batt. at Hospital Ridge. Operation Order 71. issued. Both
relieved the 72nd Batt. between ten o'clock and midnight.

The 38th Canadian Infantry Battalion will relieve the 72nd Cana-
dian Infantry Battalion in the left sub setor tonight, May 2nd

and three crews, comprising three gunners and three bombers
