2. The noon-day meal will be prepared en route on
Field Kitchens which will follow each Company, a
halt being made at Carency for this meal. The
evening meal will be carried in haversacks. At
Carency, each Company will pick up from transport
twenty four hours additional rations, that is, the rations
for Wednesday, April 25th, which are being put up in bags,
five, (5) rations to the bag.

3.- Lewis guns and magazines will be transported
to Carency and picked up by each company there.
Lieut. Menzies will arrange the distribution.

4. Each Company will be responsible for taking into
the line its own Very Light pistols, periscopes and
dixies. Officers' Mess Supplies will be carried in sand
bags from Carency or from whatever point beyond
which the Transport cannot go. One limber will be
at present Battalion Headquarters, Coupigny Huts,
tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. on which to load these
supplies. All officers kits, beds, etc to be stored at
Hersin, to be placed outside Officers' billets, where
they will be picked up by Transport, commencing at
