Kemmil Front -- 8th -- -- Artillery active - bombing nil . Machine guns quiet. Snipers
active. Enemys artillery was active at night otherwise
he preserved a passive attitude, attending principally
to works on parapets -- RBOS

The enemys artillery devoted their attention to our communi
cation trenches. Other departments quiet. -- RBOS

guns were also devoting their attention to the same end. Ours
were firing with telling effect on the enemy.
The enemy retaliated by active sniping & shelling the
Batt. H.2. in the Chateau. The latter causing several casualties
