Tuesday afternoon June 19th Board met present
as this morning also Gov William Dennison,
William B. Hubbard and J.H. Keith.
Gov Dennison presiding,
On motion the Boad then went into an Election
for the Officers of the University for the
year beginning on the first day of January
A.D. 1861, which resulted in the Election
of the following persons
Joseph M Dana Secretary
Calvary Morris Auditor
John Brown Treasurer
J.H. Stedman Collector,
Mr Trimble from the Committee on the
President's Annual Communication made
the following Report:
The Committee to whom was referred
the President's annual message, Beg leave
to report as follows,
We recommend the Election of
Eli T. Tappan A.M. to the Professorship of
Mathematics, and William H. Young
Professor of Languages in the Ohio
University, and the Election
