of teaching beg leave to make the following Report,
First, That they have attended a part of
the Examinations of the students, and so far
as they are competent to judge, the system
of Teaching adopted by the Faculty of the University
is that best calculated to advance the interests
of the Students.
Second That in the Examinations of Each
class there was manifested a thoroughness
of investigation, and a familiar knowledge
by the students of the subjects studied,
credited both to the Students & Faculty
Third That we hearby approve the course
of study adopted by the Faculty, and believe
they are eminently working for the best interest
of the institution Horace Wilson}

The committee on sale of schollarships made
the following report, which was read and
Ordered to be recorded,
To the President and Trustees of the Ohio University
The Committee on Sale of scholarships beg leave to
make the following report, That during the
year Ending June 21st A.D. 1858 they have
sold twenty six certificates of scholarhsips
amounting to the sum of three hundred
and ninity Dollars, which sum has been
hand over to the Treasurer of the O.U. and his
receipt taken thereupon and filed with the Auditor
All of which is respectfully Submitted
