Annual Meeting of the Board Tuesday July 29th 1856
On Motion of Mr Welch the sum of three hundred
dollars was placed in the hands of the Acting Com-
mittee as their contingent fund for the ensuing
year.
There was also appropriated on the motion of
Mr Welch the sum of 47 54/100 dollars to meet the
Expenses of the acting committee for the year
Ending Augst 1st 1856.
The Resolution heretofore laid on the table, in reference to the
School house Lot was taken up and adopted [crossed out]which [end crossed out]
and read as follows.
Resolved That the annual rent on the School House Lot, being
the East subdivision of In Lot No 18 in the Town of Athens
be reduced from twenty five down to Eight dollars-
On motion adjourned untill tomorrow
morning at 8 O.clock-
