The Report of the acting committee-
To the Board of Trustees of the Ohio
University.
The acting committee beg
Leave to make the following report-
Professor
Ballard, sometime after the Board Adjourned
last fall, handed to the acting committee
his resignation as Professor of Mathematics;
which resignation the commitee accepted.
And since our
last meeting William H. Bartlett died leaving
the office of Auditor vacant:
The committee thereupon
appointed John M. Leavett to fill the chair of
Mathematics and C. Morris Auditor.
