* The 108 woodcuts in Otmar's Deutscher Bibel of 1507 are
reduced copies of those in the Cologne Bible, which had already
been used by Schonsperger in his 1487 Bible. Since
Otmar's ed. had wider columns than were in Schonsperger's
ed., he had to add ornamental borders along the sides of
the woodcuts to make them fill the column. Otmar
reused these same woodcuts again in his 1518 Bibel.
