Schedel's library was sold by his uncle Melchior to
Hans Jakob Fugger in 1552 for 500 gulden. The bulk of
the books were left to Fugger's friend Albrecht V, Duke of
Bavaria, whose library went to the Bayerische
H of bibliothek.
