Thomas Martin - Chancellor of the diocese of Winchester, 1555.
Aided by Nicholas Udall, Martin furnished the work late
in 1553. It was dedicated to Queen Mary + published in
1554. Queen Mary took such favorable notice of the
book that she saw to Martin's advancement in her
government.
The 1st and only edition.
Robert Caly - commenced business in 1553. He was a
strong Catholic. The accession of Elizabeth + consequent
charge of religion, caused the cessation of his press
in 1558.
