The minutes of last meeting were read
and approved.

A letter was read from Joseph Bawden
Esq thanking the Senate for conferring
upon him the privilege of being admitted
to the free use of the Library.

The Senate met and was constituted.

Williamson, Mowat, Mackerras, Dupuis, and
Ferguson.

The minutes of last meting were read
and approved.

Mr. Bawden

It was resolved unanimously that the
Senate record their thanks to Joseph Bawden
Esq. Barrister for his donation of a
perfect specimen of Indian pottery to the
Museum. Taking into account the great
value of this gift, and considering that
Mr. Bawden has on several occasions made
donations of books to the library, the Senate
further resolved, with the sanction of
the curators of the Library to admit Mr.
Bawden to the free use of the Library, subject
to the regulaitions in such cases provided.
