This consitutes Convention No 3

The flight of time forces me to pass over the next five conventions in a very summary manner.
They all relate to certain heavily drawn lines which I call line of identify.
The best way of introducing these conventions to you will be by examples.
I write *has red pulp to mean that there exists in the universe something that has red pulp.
I write *teaches to mean something teaches something *is greater than to mean something is greater than something *gives *to *in exchange for* to mean that something gives something to something in exchange for something.
Each heavy dot stands for some undesignated individual object exisitng in the universe.
If a proper name were inserted in place of each dot the result would be a proposition.
I must inform you that quite regardless of this particular system
