Uncle Battersby, James and I walked to the
top of Primrose Hill, to have a view of
London. We bad them goodbye for ever
and returned to the City by the North
London Rail.

Monday July 1st 1867

Went to the Olympic theatre.

Tuesday July 2nd

Left the situation with which I have been
so closely identified for four years, this
evening.

Wednesday July 3rd

Strolled about town all morning with
Lizzie with the intention of making purchases
but we bought nothing. We went up to the
top of St Paul's and had a very indistinct
view of London. After dinner we went
on to John Mullen's to supper, and where
we stopped all night.

Thursday July 4th

Went to the Kensington Museum, crossing
Hyde Park. We went to teat at Aunt Mary's.
