Sunday June 9th

Went up to London; went up the river and
had a walk in St James' Park; heard the
band play in the Palace Yard; walked to
Uncle's to dinner. Miss Dunn and I went
to St Albans in the evening.

Monday June 10th

Being Whitmonday I got out early and
took a walk to Blackheath and Greenwich
Park. There was an immense number of people
out in both those places and all sorts of
amusement were going on. A Reform
Meeting was going on in the heath. Being a
fine warm evening I stopped in the
park till ten.

After business I took a ride up the river
to St James Park. Heard the band of the
Commissionaires' play. Walked down the Strand
to London Bridge.

Aunt Ames.
