Friday Apr. 5th 1867

Went this evening with Mr. Purslow to
hear the [Chrystys?] Minstrels at their
hall in Regent St.

Sunday Apr. 7th

Walked up to London by way of the Old
[Flint?] Road and dined at Uncle's in
company of Aunts Sarah and Mary.

Monday Apr. 8th

Went to a lecture at the Surrey Chapel
upon "Newspapers"; only middling.

Tuesday Apr. 9th

went with Mr. Purslow to the Mechanics
Institute to hear a lecture on Geology.

Thursday Apr. 11th

Went to Astley's Theatre; saw "The Harvest
Home"; and a burlesque: "The Nymph of
Luleyburg.

Sunday apr. 14th

A most awfully stormy day: Thomas and
I went to morning service at St. Paul's
Deptford; coming back we got drenched
