Was invited and went to a small party
at Mr. Purslow's Islington, given by him
on the occasion of the coming of age of
his cousin. Stopped all night

Sunday Dec. 30

Stopped at home to dinner; Tom,
Frank and I took a windy walk
over the heath, and through the
Park. Went up to London the afternoon
Lizzie and I went to St. Michaels Cornhill

Sunday Jan 6th 1867

Spent the day in London. Went to St.
Pauls morning service. Also with Lizzie
and Miss Dunn to the special service
at St. Paul's in the evening.

Sunday Jan. 13

A very cold day plenty of ice and snow.
Lizzie came down, and she, Thomas
and I took a wal kdown the river
side as far as Bugsbuy's Hole, calling on
the way at Mr. Bram's; spent the evening
