of returning to town thus abandoning
all hopes of reaching Hampton Court
today. We were obliged to wait nearly two
hours for a tram, and we were not
sorry when we reached London, which
we did about four o'clock pretty well
tired out. The only object of itnerest we
saw at Kew, was the residence of Princess
Mary of Cambridge and the pretty little
church opposite where she was married and

Monday Sept 17
Went to Dalston and spent the evening
at Mr. Dunn's. Lizzie and Miss Dunn
were also there.
Sunday Sept 23rd
Lizzie came down this morning and
spent the day with us. We took a
morning walk to Morden College
across the heath. Started for a walk
in the evening, but it came on very
rainy. So we spent the evening at
Frank's instead.
