managed to reach St. Paul's, Deptford
to morning service; returned by the
Kent Waterworks. After tea Tom, his wife
and I walked down to Greenwich
Park, calling in at the [Painted Hall?]
of the Hospital. We walked across the
park, and the heath to the standard
tea gardens, where we were storm-
stayed two hours, reaching home after
a dismal walk across the heath
about ten o clock.

Friday Sept 7th 1866

Tom and his wife, Lizzie and I went
to the Stan Princess' Theatre to see "The

Went up to London; met Lizzie
