Monday Feb. 5th 1866

Went to the Strand theatre; saw the
burlesque of "[L'Africamie?]"; the comedy of
"The Fly and the Webb"; and "Lending a hand".

Sunday Feb. 11

A most disagreeable day very windy and
rainy; spent the day in London; Uncle
and I took a ride in the evening from
Moorgate St Station to Bishops road and
back by the Underground railway.
Attended morning service at St. Margarets
Lothbury.

Sunday Feb 18

Took a morning walk along the river
and returned across the Park.

Sunday Feb 25th

Left off business last night at twelve,
and am to return to-night at twelve
so I shall be obliged to take the last
tram up. Spent the afternoon and
evening at Mr. Brain's.

Friday Mar. 1st 1866

Went this evening to the Canterbury
Music Hall.

Line Breaks: Hit return once after each line ends. Two returns indicate a new paragraph, which is usually indentation following the preceding sentence in the original.
