Sunday Oct. 8th

Went up to London; went to St. Thomas' Charter
House in morning service; went to St. Sepulchre
evening service.

Sunday Oct. 15

This morning we went to see Mr. Whittall in
his new residence at Lewis Hatcham; took a
walk this evening to Lewisham.

Sunday Oct. 22

Spent the day at Uncles; Cousins Edwin and
Emma were up from Lewis, Mr. Underwood,
Miss Saunder, Tom and his wife were
there also.

Sunday Oct 29

Thomas went to day to Dover; I spent the day
at uncles; very wet and disagreeable;
went to morning service at St. Margarets
[Loshburn?]; heard an excellent sermon by
Mr. Roussel one of the first preachers in
London. In the evening I went to St. Gile's
Cupplegate to hear a blind man preach.

Wednesday Nov. 8th

Went to the Standard Theatre; saw Macbeth
