Went to the Strand Theatre. The
principal piece was a burlesque entitled
"Windsor Castle".

Sunday June 18

At home all day; Thomas and I
walked to Greenwich Park this morning

Sunday June 25

Uncle Thoms and fathers birthday: at
least it was yesterday and was
kept today. I spent the day at Uncle's
as usual. There were several others
there, consisting of John Mullens and
Maryann and three of his children
Mr. Whithall and young Frank, and
Cousin Tom, and Walton. In the afternoon
Maryann had one of her children
christened. I was obliged to stand as
godfather.

Wednesday June 28

Went to Astleys Theatre; saw the play
of Mazeppa.
