Park on the Easter Holidays: not the first
class of people of course. There was an immense
number of people in the Heath and in the
Park. We returned home across the heath
and through Lewisham.

Sunday Apr 23

Went up to London and spent the day
with Uncle T. Before going there I took
a walk up the Strand, and returned
through Lincolns Inn. Mr. & Mrs. Mullens
were there to dinner and Mr. Whittall
in the afternoon. After tea Uncle and
I took a walk up Bishopgate St. and
returned by way of the City Road.

Thursday Apr. 27

Went this evening to [Ashley's?] Theatre,
to see "The Mariners Compass", and the
farces of, "While [Bait?] at [Cremona?]"; and "Love
in a Village".

Sunday Apr. 30

A beautiful day; T. and I took a morning
walk along the Brightin railway;
After dinner I went to see the Painted
Hall at Greenwich. After tea hour,
