Malbrook morning service. It is a very
beautiful little church and is the
exact model of St. Paul's. Miss D. and
I went to the Special Evening Service at
St. Paul's and heard a sermon by the
Lord Bishop of London.

Tuesday Jan. 3

Miss D. and I went to see the Drury
Lane pantomime entitled "Number [Hop?]
o'er my Thumb" or "The Eleven Brothers".
It was very beautiful. It was prceded
by a farce called "A Young Lad from the
Country".

Sunday Jan 15

Went up to London and spent the day
Uncle and I took a morning walk
to Pentonville to see Maryann. On
the way we stopped at the Fountain
Public House and had a look at some
prize birds, belong to Mr. Cary the proprietor.
Saw Uncle William, and Cousin Elizabeth
who called in the evening.

Went this evening to the Surrey
