[[Palace]] which is situated at the extreme
end of the Park which it overlooks. It
is a very large square building and there
is nothing particularly striking in it. I
walked completely around it but as the
extensive park is surrounded by a high
brick wall like a jail I could see nothing.
I returned home from [[Charring Cross]] by
the rail.

Saturday June 25
This evening [[Thomas]] and I went to the
[[Prince's Theatre]], he having
an order admitting two. The performance
was excellent consisting of: [[An Irishman
for luck]]; [[The Monastery of St. Just]]; and
[[Second floor and Attics]]. Being very late
we did not stay to see the latter finished.

Sunday June 26
Went up to [[London]] to dine with [[Uncle
T]] this being the anniversary of his birth
as well as that of my father, both
having been born by a singular coin-
cidence of the same day although
six years apart. Before dinner Uncle
