a walk through [[Lewisham]] on to [[Black-
heath]]. After tea a large party including
[[Mr. & Mrs Braine]], [[Mr. and Mrs. Barrel]],
[[Miss Austen]], [[Mr Lieddie]] a [[German]] friend
of ''Tom's]], [[Mr. Northcote]], [[Tom]], his wife
and I took a walk to [[Brockly Jack]]
which we reached by crossing the
meadows and fields which skirt the
river [[Ravensbourne]]. The field were
beautifully green and fresh and
I enjoyed the walk very much.

Sunday June 12
T. and I took a walk through [[Lewisham]]
on to [[Blackheath]] this morning. After
tea we all walked to the [[Standard Tea
Gardens]]. Wrote a letter home.

Sunday June 19
Went up to London. Before dinner I took
a walk to [[Pentonville]] to see [[Mary-Ann]].
Saw [[Uncle William]] who called at [[Uncle
T's]] in the evening. I left uncles very
early and took a boat to [[Westminster]]
walked through [[St. James' Park]] which
was filled with people, to [[Buckingham]]
