Sunday Mar 13th 1864
A fine day. Went up to Uncles, went to St.
Michael's Church Cornhill morning service.
This is a very beautiful church the
ornamenting of which was, I am told, under the
special direction of Prince Albert. I went
to the special service at St. Paul's in the
evening.

Friday Mar. 18th
Went to Deptford Theatre, a very dirty
wretched little place. The pieces were -
The Lady of Lyons and a farce called
The Blue Devils. The acting was tolerable
for the place. The weather at present
is very fine, very mild and warm.
The trees are begining to shoot.

Sunday Mar. 21
A beautiful day. In the morning T. and
I took a walk along the river front
through Greenwich and returned through
the Park. After dinner we went up to
see our cousins the Pradiers in Newman
St. Oxford St, took tea and supper
