A very fine day. Thomas and I in company with
Mr. Barrel took a walk this morning.

and I went to St. Paul's in the evening.

Sunday Feb. 21
Very wintry all day. Slight sprinkle of
snow; went up to London, took a long walk
from the station. Stepped into the old
church of St. Saviour's London Bridge
and had a look at the monuments
some of which are over four hundred
years old. I then crossed over the
temporary bridge at Blackfriars and
had a look at the works going on at
that place in the construction of a new
bridge; went up the strand as far as
