We strolled about the quiet ancient
collection of buildings for half hour
or so and after having a look at old
St. Bride's Fleet St. we returned to
business.

Sunday Nov. 29
Went to St. Mary's Greenwich this evening.

Sunday Dec 6th
Attended service at the old church, Deptford.
After dinner went up to the city to see
uncle; on my way home called on the
Cummings; afterwards on Mr. Hales,
he was not at home. I then stepped into
the church of St. George the Martyr and
as it was communion Sunday I had
the curiousity to remain and see the
Sacrament administered. Reached home
near ten.

As nothing of any importance has trans-
pired this week and as one week is like
another, in every respect, weather and
everything else, my Sundays are about

Line Breaks: Hit return once after each line ends. Two returns indicate a new paragraph, which is usually indentation following the preceding sentence in the original. The times at the end of each entry should get their own paragraph, since the software does not support indentation in the transcriptions.
Illegible text: Indicate illegible readings in single square brackets: [Dr?]
A single newline indicates a line-break in the original document, and will not appear as a break in the text in some views or exports. Two newlines indicate a paragraph, and will appear as a paragraph break in all views.
